Sean Olver — Founder and Principal Consultant
Sean established Solver Industries in 2013 as a steel fabrication business. The company has since evolved into an independent industrial advisory practice, building on extensive experience in fabrication, maintenance, equipment selection, and capital-project execution.
Sean Olver brings extensive experience across industrial maintenance leadership, fabrication operations, shipbuilding and heavy industry, contractor governance, capital equipment evaluation, and major project execution.
His career includes senior leadership and project-management roles in complex industrial environments, with responsibility spanning maintenance and facilities programs, specialized production and welding equipment, automation, contractor coordination, procurement, commissioning, and operational readiness. His project portfolio includes major industrial infrastructure and equipment programs with capital values extending into nine figures.
Sean is a Red Seal welder and an experienced CWB welding inspector. That technical foundation, combined with senior operational and project leadership experience, allows Solver Industries to evaluate both the technical requirements and the operating realities behind high-stakes industrial decisions.
